Someone asked me about concentration practice. Jhana is Jhana. Floating feels good but is not Jhana. Remember Jhana happens when the mind is fully concentrated on the object. It is powerful. Not only does it ‘feel’ good but the mind is totally awake and aware. Floating is like a trance or before sleep like state. It happens when the mind is dull. A dull mind lends to sleep and distraction. An awake mind is focused and steady.
